Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is with great delight that we welcome you to the 2nd Annual Scientific Meeting of ASMRM (ASMRM 2020) & 8th International Congress on MRI & 25th Annual Scientific Meeting of KSMRM (ICMRI 2020), hosted by the Asian Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ASMRM) and Korean Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (KSMRM), to be held from November 3rd to 4th, 2020, as a Virtual Congress.

The Korean Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine has been hosting the ICMRI annually to provide cutting-edge scientific content and to bridge the gap between on-going academic developments and industrial implementations in MRI. Thanks to our efforts and growing importance of our field, this Congress has become a major Asian MR Community Forum bringing together about 1,200 attendees from more than 30 countries on average. In 2020, the ASMRM and KSMRM will host this congress together for an increasingly enriching scientific program.

ASMRM & ICMRI 2020 was originally planned to be held in March 2020. However, due to the developments in the pandemic, ASMRM & ICMRI 2020 was first postponed to July and then again to November 2020.

In consideration of our participants’ safety as well as our intellectual aspirations, the organizing committee has decided to convert ASMRM & ICMRI 2020 into a Virtual Congress. Therefore, we would like to invite all our global members to participate.

We will do our best to produce a valuable and successful Virtual Congress and appreciate your kind understanding.
